In an inspiring celebration of European Union (EU) values and the upcoming elections, two exhilarating flash mobs ignited the pedestrian areas of Malta in March and May, captivating audiences at the Smartcity Shoreline and Mercury Towers, respectively. These dynamic events were orchestrated by TDM 2000 Malta as part of their project "Changemakers for European Democracy," in partnership with Street Elements dancers.
March Flash mob at Shoreline:
The inaugural flash mob at Shoreline in March marked the beginning of a series of vibrant showcases of talent and unity. Street Elements dancers, in collaboration with TDM 2000 Malta, took to the area with messages of inclusivity, diversity, and solidarity, echoing the principles of the European Union. Against the backdrop of the shoreline, bystanders were treated to a display of artistry and encouragement.
May Flash mob at Mercury Towers:
Building upon the momentum, the flash mob at Mercury Towers on Europe Day (the 9th of May) elevated the spectacle to new heights. Amidst the towering structures, Street Elements dancers, supported by TDM 2000 Malta, once again took center stage, captivating audiences with their dynamic choreography and energy. Against the backdrop of the lively cityscape, the performance served as a call for active citizenship and engagement in the upcoming EU elections.
